50+ Dance Fitness is a Dance Exercise class tailored to meet the needs of the mature lady. You are never too old to dance; our most senior member is a mere 88 years young!
You will learn a number of routines using a variety of dance styles including: Jive, Cha Cha, Salsa, Bollywood, Belly Dance and Rhumba. The dances are low impact and avoid twisting motions to make sure they are suitable for everyone. The class is great fun; we even provide you with maracas and belly dance belts.
Research has revealed older people can dance their way towards improved health and happiness. The social, mental and physical benefits of dancing for older people staves off illness, and even counteracts aging.
What to expect
